It aims to extend this certification to cover all its products. Mr. Charnvit Jarusombathi, Senior Executive Vice President of Double A (1991) Public Company Limited, stated that in addition to offering high-quality products recognized globally, Double A also emphasizes environmental concerns. The company is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions to achieve Net Zero. As a result, Double A has been certified with the Carbon Footprint Reduction (CFR) label for its pulp and paper products by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO). This certification involves assessing greenhouse gas emissions throughout the product life cycle, including raw material acquisition, transportation, manufacturing, usage, and post-consumer waste management. Double A has managed to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 2% compared to the base year (2021).
Double A has set an ambitious roadmap to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2050, including enhancing production efficiency, optimizing resource management, and embracing clean energy. The results are already impressive, with a 48% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions for 2023, verified by ISO 14064-1 standards and TGO criteria for Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) . This achievement exceeds the company's short-term target of a 25% reduction by 2030, showcasing Double A's leadership in environmental stewardship.
