Double A wins a Grand Prix for the music VDO “Obsession for Smoothness” at Spikes Asia 2018
The eye-catching creation of “Obsession for Smoothness” music VDO that was the 4 parties collaboration between the premium copy paper Double A, an American alternative rock band OK GO , Spa Hakuhodo and the creative agency SIX Inc., continuously succeeded to win the Grand Prix award for Technological Achievement subcategory of the Digital Craft Category at Spikes Asia 2018 which take place at Suntec, Singapore.
The Spikes Asia Award is recognised the Asia Pacific’s most inspiring creative festival offering inspiration and networking for professionals in creative communications industry from across the Asia Pacific region.
Besides the Grand Prix Award, this amazing music VDO also received 3 Gold Awards (Production Design/Art Direction, Digital & Interactive Design and Brand/Product Video), 3 Silvers Awards (Visual Effect, Consumer Durables and Influencer/Talent) and 2 Bronze Awards (Direction and Use of Original Music).

“Obsession for Smoothness” music VDO was recognised as The World’s First Paper Mapping technique with 567 printers used to make a perfect synchronising system that matches the music and no single jams throughout 5 days of continuous shooting.
